Sònia Casillas

Dr. Sònia Casillas is associate professor at the Department of Genetics and Microbiology of the UAB. She has 20+ years of research experience in the representation and analysis of genetic diversity. She is now interested in the study of genetic adaptation and in the integration of population genomics data with other omics layers. She teaches Genomics and Bioinformatics and coordinates the MSc Bioinformatics of the UAB.
