Marina Sari Ad-Din

Marina (Yermilova) Sari Ad-Din, PhD in Russian Linguistics, has taught Russian to international students in Russia, Lebanon, and the USA. She currently lives and teaches in Lebanon and is a member of MAPRYAL.

I have extensive experience teaching Russian to students of different levels and backgrounds at universities and academic institutions in Russia, Lebanon, and the United States, including Saint Petersburg State University, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, the Lebanese American University, the Critical Languages Institute at Arizona State University, and the Kathryn Wasserman Davis School of Russian at Middlebury College in Vermont. I am also a Superprof Ambassador, a recognition I greatly value as it reflects my students’ trust and positive learning experience. As a dedicated teacher with a student-centered approach, I see myself not only as a language instructor but also as an enthusiastic ambassador for the Russian language and culture. I believe that learning a language should be meaningful, engaging, and fun — and that even the most complicated Russian grammar becomes much less intimidating when you know why you need it and can start using it right away. My goal is simple: to help you discover that Russian is not as scary as it may seem! You don't have to understand everything at once. Learn a little, use it, enjoy it — and keep going.
