Note: This is a companion course for CS 110 taught at University of Regina
Introduction to programming and problem-solving techniques, the fundamental concepts of programming, and the software design process. Topics include data types, control structures, syntax and semantics, scope rules, functions, string processing, one-dimensional arrays, files, and the mechanics of running, testing, debugging, and documenting. Problems are drawn from various science disciplines.
Prerequisites: Precalculus 30, or Calculus 30, or Mathematics B30 and C30, or MATH 102
