The course "Energy efficient technologies in power supply systems" is developed for training of the bachelors in the field of "Electricity and electrical engineering" (13.03.02).
The course has been prepared in English within the framework of the project “Integration of education with consumer behavior in relation to energy efficiency and climate change in the universities of Russia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh”, implemented under the international “ERASMUS +” program.
О курсе
The course shows organizational, technical measures and improvement of electricity metering, implementation of which will improve the energy efficiency of power supply systems, taking into account the following criteria: ensuring the quality of electricity at receivers and a minimum of electrical energy losses. Solutions are considered that implement the latest trends in increasing the energy efficiency of power supply systems: the use of renewable energy sources and the activity of end users of electricity. Implementation of the above measures and solutions creates conditions for the implementation of the concept of smart energy management (smart grid from the perspective of increasing energy efficiency) in power supply systems.
