National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University invites high school students to look into the world of future engineering. This exciting quest course will show you four different areas of modern engineering – Energy, Cybernetics, 3D-modeling of Space Technology, and Geology – and assess the prospects for their development. Students are expected to do special creative tasks to find solutions to the questions faced by modern programmers, power engineers, geological engineers and design engineers, to learn how to make money in cyberspace, and try to design 3D models of space technology components.
The course is financially supported by PJSC Gazprom.
О курсе
The course is developed as a massive open online course (MOOC), which includes short video lectures, online laboratory classes and creative tasks. The course is designed by professors and students from 5 Schools of Tomsk Polytechnic University. Lessons in engineering are delivered by university students, members of the Club of the Funny and Inventive (KVN), and future engineers.
