This course teaches real-life applications of phylogenetic trees. While leaving practically all the mathematic intricacies of the subject aside, it illustrates the possibilities of phylogenetic trees as a scientific tool in two formidable examples. Excellent literature references are provided for further study. A great yet brief introduction to phylogenetic trees for someone with basic knowledge of molecular biology.
