The course "Organization and methodology of scientific research" is developed for training of the masters in the field of "Electricity and electrical engineering" (13.04.02).
The course has been prepared in English within the framework of the project “Integration of education with consumer behavior in relation to energy efficiency and climate change in the universities of Russia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh”, implemented under the international “ERASMUS +” program.

An important stage of master course is studying of a complex of disciplines "The theory and practice of an engineering research" that provides formation of scientific approach to analyze and solve scientific problems. It allows the head of a magistracy along with supervisors of master students to formulate topics of qualification works at early stage. The distinctive feature of the presented module is that the classical theory of the scientific research is illustrated by examples in the field of electrical power engineering and electrical engineering. The section "Trends and scenarios of the world power industry development" is also provided for better understanding of the actual power industry problems.

Начальные требования
The course presuppose training in electrotechnics, electrical machines, electrical energy systems courses. It is based on bachelor's degree programs 13.03.02 "Electricity and electrical engineering".
