The purpose of the discipline "Financial analysis" is the development of students of theoretical and methodological foundations of analysis, which is the most important function of management of organizations engaged in economic activity in various sectors of the economy, the acquisition of skills in the use of methods of financial analysis and their application to justify options for operational and strategic management decisions in various areas of production, economic, financial, investment and innovation, ensuring the growth of the market value of the business.

The course is designed to form students ' knowledge of the theoretical provisions of financial analysis and practical skills of its implementation. In the process of studying the course, a significant place is given to the study and skills of using the accounting records of the organization as an information base for financial analysis, the formation of a system of analytical characteristics of the performance of organizations, the preparation and adoption of sound management decisions aimed at improving the system of planning and control over the activities of various economic entities, taking into account their specifics.
