During this course, I gained a practical understanding of regression analysis, including interpreting log-linear models, testing joint significance with Wald tests, and applying hypothesis tests like assessing returns to scale in Cobb–Douglas functions. What was new and particularly useful was learning how to choose between model specifications using tools like the Box–Cox test and how to meaningfully reparameterize equations for hypothesis testing. I appreciated the focus on real-world interpretation and the structured approach to econometric applications. The exercises with dummy variables and model comparisons strengthened my ability to link theory to practice. At times, the pace felt quick when moving between topics, and additional hands-on examples for tests like the Wald test would be beneficial. Including more step-by-step walkthroughs and recap summaries could improve clarity.
хороший курс
Excellent course!
Объёмный, немного сложный для понимания курс (в том числе из-за английского языка), но если вникнуть и тщательно проработать каждую тему - основы статистики станут понятны
